Catching Up

So I have been a little slack with the blog lately....mostly because we have been away alot visiting people.
First stop was to see our much missed friends Rex and Lauren and their kids Payton,6 and Cooper, 20 months. Amelia was on her best behavior! One thing is for sure..she loves being around other kids. She had a blast with them. Payton enjoyed wheeling her around the house in the radio flyer and Cooper even shared some of his toys at the end of the trip. Big step for a Toddler. He called her "the baby"! How cute is that?

Rex, Lauren, Mark and I even got to go out to dinner one night thanks to their amazing sitter. This was actually the first time we have been to dinner out with friends since she was born. What a treat.

We also got to go to the local pool, which was pretty amazing. Complete with a lazy river and lots of fountains and slides. I was excited to bring Amelia into the deeper end with a life preserver on, but she was not interested in wearing this at all! She hung out in the shallow end and played with the fountains. She did wear a hat though so I considered it a win.

Upon returning home Amelia had a pool date with Jackson who is back from Florida.  After splashing it up in the pool they took naps in their pack n plays in the garage together. We caught them playing a game of peek a boo before they went to sleep. Too cute!

This past weekend we got to visit our old neighbors and good friends Lou and Mary in Chittenango. Their family came over to visit as well and they brought the kids so Amelia was just having a great time. She was getting lots of rides and cruising all over with her walker. It was great to see everyone again and we got moe than a little nostalgic being at our old place, lots of good memories there.
