Party Hats and Big Girl Beds

It's been an exciting week around here. Mark turned 35 on Thursday. Having an almost 3 year old really makes your birthday alot of fun again. Amelia was very excited about the "party" and insisted we all wear party hats. 

She got to be Elmo and the birthday boy was designated Cookie Monster...how fitting. By default I was Big Bird. 

She helped Mark blow out his candles too....

In other exciting news....Amelia's new bed came this weekend. To say she was excited is beyond an understatement. The moving men got a lot of entertainment. We had to explain to her that the bed was for sleeping, not for dance practice.....

She was very excited that there was room for all of her friends....

Now we get to wake up and have snuggle time after naps and before bed!
