Father's Day Extra Special

Fresh out of ideas,  I had been asking Mark what he would like for Father's Day. He kept saying "I just want a healthy baby".  Well...thats exactly what he got....on Fathers Day!!  Garrett made his appearance into this world at 10:05 on June 16th, which this year was Father's Day. And he was certainly in a hurry to do so. We walked in to check in at 9:00 am !! He was born before I was formally admitted. It was exciting to say the least.

He was 6 lbs 1 oz and 19 3/4 inches. What a peanut!! We got lots of snuggle time right away as his Apgar score was 9.9! Thats our boy....doing well on tests right out of the gate:)

 Amelia was in full big sister mode when she got to the hospital to visit. Baby Garrett was so thoughtful he bought her a baby of her own that she could take care of. She was thrilled to wrap her up just like Garrett.
