Halloweening

Well Halloween didn't turn out quite as we had hoped this year. We had big plans to go trick or treating with friends. Amelia came down with croup on Tuesday and so was not in her usual form. By Thursday she was well enough to run out to a few houses on our street. She had been so exited to wear her costume for weeks that we couldn't possibly not go at all.  

Here is Amelia about a week before the big day soooo excited!!! She is Sleeping Beauty. I'm pretty sure this became the princess of choice solely on the color of her dress.

Here are a couple of a photos before we headed out. Grandma Barb took them as she had been helping us out while Amelia was sick. This was such an enormous help for us! Mark was wearing Monster Gloves and we dubbed him the Tickle Monster. 

As it had been raining, Amelia was not having the best time outside. She seemed to perk up once inside though and spent most of her time like this.

So cute she was looking for trick or treaters and if she saw them across the street would ask "how come they are not coming to our house??"  in her super sad voice. I guess it was a good year to be a little down and out since the weather was so crummy. Better luck next year:)
