So Thankful!

We had a great Thanksgiving and hope you did too. This year we had a little something extra special for the big day...SNOW!!!!! Ordinarily this is not something I would jump up and down about, but when you see how excited your kids are to go out and play in the snow....well you cant help but get giddy about it. We went to Grandmas and Uppa's in Erie for Thanksgiving and got to visit with Uncle Ryan, Aunt Beth, and of course Ben and Cate. Amelia had quite the time hanging out with Ben.

Best buds all weekend!
Here they are watching Uppa carve the Turkey. Ben looks like his mouth is watering, Amelia is well....no too sure about the whole turkey thing.

Friday was was a beautiful day to play in the snow, and thats just what we did. We all built a snowman and had lots of fun bringing Ben, Cate and Amelia up and down the hill in the backyard again and again and again....

Getting ready for a ride

Wheee, one of the many trips down the hill
We also went to visit a Tree festival in Erie. This was really cool, there were countless trees all decorated in one theme or another. I think this was set up to be a leisurely stroll of a tour, but Ben and Amelia flew through it in about 15 minutes.
They even got to visit with Santa for a bit. Cate was not a fan of Santa and preferred to hang out in his sled outside the room.

Touring the many trees

One of the many amazing tree displays

Visiting with Santa...wake up Santa!

We even got to see some of Santa's reindeer!!!

On Saturday, Grandma and Uppa had an open house for the rest of the family to stop by. Grandma Rose got to spend some quality time with Garrett, one of her many great grandchildren.
