Fun in the Sun

Well we finally made it to Florida! Our stellar track record of interrupted vacations has been maintained. Our initial flight and trip was cancelled due to the massive "Polar Vortex" storm that swept through Buffalo. Fortunately we were able to re-schedule.

Someone was very excited to pull her own new luggage that she got for Christmas! Thanks Papa Mike and Leona:)

Garrett made a good traveling companion as well.....

We saw double rainbows on the beach!! Perhaps a sign that our vacation luck will make a turn for the better??

Amelia was so excited to get to the beach!!! She sang, she danced, she made a sand snowman, and even went in the unseasonably cold water!

Amelia had her first trip to Disney.  Grandma Barb volunteered to stay home with Baby Garrett so Amelia would be free to maximize her day at Disney. Although she was so excited to meet the princesses, she was a little shy when the moment came. The only princess she warmed up to was Bell

Mark was chosen to play an armoured guard! 

The rides were the biggest hit. Particularly It's a small world and Dumbo. Here she is spinning the Mad Hatter teacups...another big hit ride.

Despite a rough start to the day and some yawns as early as 10 am, she made it to the fireworks. Thankfully they started early at 7. 

Is it just me or does every kid look the same at the end of the day at Disney?
