It's Begining To Look Alot Like Christmas

No it's not the snow that's creating the Christmas spirit around here. I think we have had maybe 4 inches to date! It's all the decorations and presents, presents and yup...more presents.
Ama Barb and Uppa Tom came up to celebrate Christmas this weekend. Amelia woke up to a beautifully decorated tree and lots of presents. Things have been so crazy lately this is the first chance we had to get a tree up.  I'm glad we were delayed though, because we found the most perfect tree, it honestly looks fake.

Despite the fact that there was an enormous present in the kitchen for Amelia to open the first thing she spied was freshly baked apple cinnamon muffins. All she wanted was her "yummies". But once she finished that she was quite intrigued and got to work. She was thrilled to find her very own "tower" beneath all that paper. Then she screeched and got "up up" and did her happy feet dance.....sooo cute.



Wow! This present is huge!!!!



She really tore through this paper pretty quick.

Well once she was in the tower she didnt want to leave. So she opened the rest of her gifts there. She certainly loved her gift.

In other news, last weekend we went to see Santa. Amelia was not very impressed with Santa, in fact, she nearly all out refused to take a picture with him. The only way she would take a photo with him was to sit on my lap. Mark took some photos but the photographer cut me out and all you can see is the red blanket so it looks like Santa's suit...pretty smart those folks are. I guess the have done this before.
