Ahhh Summer!!!!

So I know it isn't officially summer yet, but it sure feels like it. We just had a weekend in the high 80's. Sort of brings me back to March, oddly enough.
We are all taking full advantage of the good weather. The word in our house these days is 'side, which in Amelia speak is outside.
Another word we hear alot is bike! with great enthusiasm. This is music to Marks ears. He bought a bike attachment for her last year and was sooo excited about it. Well, last year Amelia was not so into it, mostly because she did not want to wear her helmet.
But now she is so excited about her yellow hat as she calls it. She is literally begging to go biking!



All set for my first ride of the season!

 And not only are we wearing helmets, but we are rocking the hats in the sun too!

No matter that it is only May, we are full swing into summer. She has been in the sandbox (sand), the sprinkler (water), and had lots of fun with water baloons.



Finally got her to wear new sandals:)

 
Now that all the trees have filled in , we have lots of animal friends in the yard, from bunnies, squirrels, birds, even deer. This morning a little bluebird was resting on our porch all through breakfast. I told Amelia he was sleeping and she kept repeating birdie night night! So sweet and sharp!
