Road Trip

We just got back from a weekend in Schenectady to visit Nanna Fran, Mike and Papa Mike. We had alot of people to see and really packed it in. Amelia was a trooper as always; mostly smiles and giggles from her.

Amelia awoke on Saturday to.....what else?? presents!! These grandparents think every Amelia sighting is a holiday:) She certainly doesnt seem to mind. Nanna Fran made her another adorable stuffed animal.

 She was inspired by her new stuffed animal and decided to go around the house and see how many she could collect. Here is her stash.

 Since it was raining most of the day Saturday, we thought we would check out a local kids art festival. Unfortunately, they had to move this event inside. The back up venue was city hall, a building with terrible acoustics and a monstrous echo. Needelss to say Amelia was pretty much terrified so our stay was quite brief.

 Saturday night we went to Kelly and Larry's house to for some long overdue catching up. Everyone got to meet Amelia and she got to play with the big kids! She had a blast and didnt start to crash until 9:30 at night.

 Amelia had the best time riding around in this push car. Clara was pushing her around pretty well on the driveway but needed a little help in the wet grass. Heres a clip..

 So great to see my girlfriends from highschool..it has been 2 years since we have seen each other, way too long.

Sunday morning brought us some sunshine so after breakfast we hit central park. They have a fantastic section for kids 2-5, just the right size for Amelia. Although they had maybe 7-8 different slides, this one was by far Amelias favorite. I think it had something to do with the long runway in the backround there.
