Growing Up

Although Amelia is not officially a Toddler yet, she sure is acting like one. She is quite the little chili pepper lately. She certainly knows what she does and does not want, and man she is not afraid to let you know. She has been boycotting her highchair. Turns out she prefers to eat at the table like a grownup! Shes not even one yet! Im scared for the future.
Fortunately our highchair is pretty adaptable and can function as various chairs. The high chair part comes off and locks into a booster seat you put on the chair. Very cool! Not to mention the perfect height for Amelia to be able to eat at the table.

Heres the funniest part. I tried to place her just like this in the chair at her usual spot where the high chair was and she literally had a total meltdown. I put her across the table and voila shes happier than a clam! Guess she really wants no association with the highchair. As if she's saying "I'm not a baby anymore."

Amelia also set a new record for wearing a hat. A whole 2 minutes! This may not seem like much but trust me it is a total triumph. She even gave me a cute pose.
